I thought i saw it all with all of the ridiculous posts dissing floyd mayweather. Now you guys accuse floyd's fans of jumping ship to attach themselves to paul williams????? lol. Don't you even respect your own opinion? I had one guy flat out tell me, this is the internet, we can say anything we want no matter how dumb it sounds. You mean this counts even when talking about boxers? Paul Williams was always in the mix, and this fight proved it.
Many boxers lose. Jermaine taylor lost twice to Pav, Barrera lost twice to junior jones. Had we had some of the posters posting then who are here now, barrera would've proved you guys totally wrong. One loss by a boxer will never cut it for me. Paul Williams is a danger to cotto also folks. You won't be able to fall back on Cotto beat quintana before williams. Williams took him out in 1. He has beaten margs, and wants to fight any of the top welters. Some of you have forgotten that a loss can actually help you in the long run.
I've been watching boxing for 34 years, and i'm 38. I've seen, heard, been around boxers, and witnessed it all. Doesn't make me better than any of you. Floyd's fans rooting for paul williams? Yeah, so what if they are. Boxing is about looking for a new guy to back when your guy retires. I hate to say it, but mexicans root for mexicans, puerto rocks root for puerto rocks, caucasian fans root for caucasian fans, and black folk root for black folk. And we have our favorites from other races also. Doesn't mean we hate other ethnic groups, just means we love our own. Paul Williams was counted out by many here. Look at him now.
