quintana decisioned him in a reasonably close fight which was an off-night for paul and quintana was the first southpaw he ever fought to my knowledge. he didn't train with southpaws and that was why he looked so off.

not to take anything away from quintana but the first win was more because of paul being unprepared than quintana being the better fighter. for the rematch both were prepared and quintana was simply outclassed. unless we learn that quintana wasnt feeling good i think a third fight would end in another ko after seeing how strong williams can be

How would you know this?? The point is that Quintana beat PW and outclassed him in the first fight. If you wanto say that PW had an "off night", who is to say that Quintana didn't have an "off night" tonight, or that PW landed a lucky punch. Common man, lets be logical. A loss is a loss, and PW lost to CQ.

liek i said unless we find out that there was something wrong with quintana then my argument stands

williams never trained with southpaws for the first fight. even then he still made the fight a little close. youre oversimplifying it when you say "a loss is a loss"

How do you know that he didnt train with a southpaw for the first fight?? Any credible sources? BTW Shramba Mitchell is a southpaw.

Paul was training with righties ONLY.....Louis Collazo was his sparring partner.

your right about sharmba but he didnt train with any before the fight

he/his camp said they didnt train with southpaws, so i'll take their word for it

The first fight wasn't a fluke, Quintana can beat Williams again in a trilogy.
Quintana may have been caught cold, they both looked very dry. Any how, I still don't think he deserves a rematch, not after a one round KO. Perhaps if he takes on another top ten fighter and dominates, maybe he can prove that he's still worthy opposition and work his way towards a rubber match. At this point Williams should move on to bigger and better things, given the momentum he's got off this huge victory tonight.

Quintana deserves a rematch its 1 for 1. Quintana got caught earl.y. You cant say alot through a first round knockout. IF he wouldve survived that first round Qintana wouldve gotten into his rhythm.
