enough of the practice quizzes, he needs to take the tests. The time for being a prospect has passed. It is now time to make the necessary moves to make him a player in the division. hopefully, after this next fight, they start asking for the bigger and tougher names.

What if Cotto isn't even the best guy at 147 and Andre Berto winds up beating them all including Cotto unifiying the 147 division in the next 2 and a 1/2 years.

Out of nowhere, starts blasting out top guys. And Mayweathers decided to comeback in 2010 for a Mega-fight against him of all people.

Yeah you're completely right, now that he has fully developed as a fighter and proven without a shadow of doubt that he is the next big star in boxing he should really step up and challenge some of the most talented Welters in the last 10 years. **** it. Throw caution to the wind, whats the worst that could happen?

I don't know if Haye's chin is strong enough to really give Berto a true test.

not at all, but the slow pace the WW division takes is fustrating. Look at the prospects at the lower weights and middleweight. These guys are stepping up taking the risks to make noise. At a time when boxing needs stars, a decision needs to be made in a prospect's career to move forward.

Now, I'm not saying he should be calling out Cotto, Williams, Margo, but there shouldn't be any reason for him to seek the winner of Clottey/Judah.

Well he's about to fight for a vacant Title.

That's how Cotto gets all of his belts.

Say what you will about Berto..you can't let that mofo hit you.He brings serious power into the Welterweight division.

Once he gets his lil belt..he'll make a few Title defense and sharpen skills. Then they'll cut him lose on somebody at the top.

Don't worry..he'll be in the thick of things before long.
