    Is Pavlik REALLY a Star?

When i think of a boxing star i think of Mayweather, Dlh, Trinidad, Jones you know the ticket sellers. Can Pavlik fill seats outside of the Ohio area and will he ever be the fighter to have great PPV numbers, you know 500k buys and up?

If he continues on this knockout path, it's gonna be hard to stop him from becoming a star. At least as much of a star that a boxer can be nowadays.

I dont think he is a superstar yet. In OHIO he is but not in the US yet. NOt close really.

90% of the people on the streets dont know who he is.

But i think he'll get there. If he beats guys like Calzaghe and stuff, and continues to be extensively covered by the media like he is now

i think he will be, he has an exciting style, hes humble for the most part...if he beats calzaghe i think he will become a big star. besides calzaghe and abraham theres not that man big names to fight in those divisions unless he moved to smw or something.

With each fight, he's becoming more popular and getting closer to becoming a big star.

Had Enzo not thrown in the towel it would've helped Pavlik's cause. Big knockouts that might get played on sportscenter or talked about in public more help to gain recognition, a fighter repeatedly taking knees before the towel is thrown doesn't.

Assuming he keeps winning for a couple of years expect his name to ring well with the general public.

It would definitely be on PPV, and it would definitely do low numbers.

that was a brutal ass kicking he passed out tonight. i was half temped to do the 35 min drive to youngstown & take the bus with everyone to see him a couple months ago. i'm glad i didn't, i wouldve wanted to see more than 2 and a half rounds...
                    he's a beast
