    The Thing About Pavlik...

His Power has a lingering effect. He is not a one punch guy, but his punches are just so heavy.

I was watching Lockett's face get more busted up with every punch pavlik threw. He tears faces up like Cotto does. Not one punch KO power, but heavy brick like punching like Cotto. Both of their punches seem to have a different lasting effect than KO punchers.

They are heavy and hurting, like a Duran or a Foreman.

Don't try to be aggressive against Pavlik. He will tear you down.

I'm not sure what Enzo's game plan was, but it was all wrong. I give credit to Lockett though. He was a game chap and was still throwing punches and never gave up even when getting pummeled. The kid has a great heart. He was just over matched.

I feel kind of bad for him. He was badly matched throughout his career and never got a chance to develop into a truly world class fighter due to the opposition he faced.

After being ringside and hearing Pavliks' punches land on Miranda - I knew Pavlik is VERY heavy handed.

Personaly I still say he destroys a Calzaghe - Joe C's punching power is long gone, and if you can't hurt Pavlik he will just beat the crap out of you.

Pavlik over Calzaghe by TKO WIN....

pavlik had 1 punch power, it's just that his power effects you even if you block them.

He will definitely test Joe more than anyone else has. He has this methodical controlled anger about him. He really wants to beat guys up bad. The effect of his punches just takes the will out of his opponents.

              Who? Pavlik? Are you kidding?

Oh and Enzo didn't have a gameplan. Put his kid in there and hope he doesn't get hurt. That was it.

Pavlik is a great puncher. He can put those heavy punchers into combo's that have devestating effect

i mean, NOTHING about this dude physically says "POWER", but his power is devastating. kind of like a wrecking ball hitting a 20 foot concrete wall. its gonna crack, break, then crumble.

thats why he got to fight calazghe
their styles match up. calzaghe can use his boxing skills
it will be like hagler vs ray leonard
this fight would mean more to calzaghe's legacy
than beating up an old hopkins
                    LETS GET IT ON !!!
