Clear hype move man.. Enzo Calzaghe was downing Pavlik SO MUCH. He just wanted to throw another shot cause he deserved too and too ignite some frustration to the calzaghe camp so Joe will fight him.

calzaghe is obviously known to boxing fans, but the casual boxing fan has just been introduced to calzaghe... too bad calzaghe is already talking retirement... I hope he doesn't retire until he fight pavlik... and why not... I think calzaghe beat pavlik.. if he does is it an obvious duck?

Everything Pavlik said was true.

Most US fans didn't know who he was until he fought Hopkins.

Pavlik has, and let's be truthful here, taken a stab at the typical American way of thinking:

"just because he's not on HBO he's a bum"

Take a leaf out of Pavlik's book and respect people you haven't seen before, because as Joe showed against Lacy, just because you haven't seen him fight, doesn't mean he is a bum.
