Sergio Mora Outhustles Vernon Forrest, New Champion

I think all around this weekends outcomes with the exception of Pavlik-Lockett, was pretty shocking. Seriously though, I couldn't believe how bad Forrest looked and how good Mora's work rate was. I'll admit I haven't seen any of Mora's fights so I don't know if he is normally that active but he looked very impressive. I have seen enough of Forrest's fights to conclude that he dismissed Mora and/or is really feeling his age. He looked plain tired after the 6th round. Good for Sergio though, he definitely deserved that win. He fought his ass off.

*On a side note: how bout that ****ing ref? He let that **** get dirty and should have taken points away from both guys with all the fouling they did.

I just don't see anything to be wowed about Mora, I thought that fight was as boring as could be, of course I favor more of a slug fest or a slug-technical combo a la Marquez-Vazquez kind of fight, but man, I ended up fast forwarding it to see the results, and I usually stay to watch the whole fight.

Cong**** to Mora though, hopefully he'll get the respect he lacks I guess, but he hasn't shown me anything to be excited about, and that whole C+ BS speech he said at the end...man I hate it when fighters say that ****, because come next fight and were to lose badly, they got to put that big foot in their mouth.

that fight was pathetic...forrest needs to retire...and sergio's character though out the fight was as irritating as watching john ruiz in action...more and more these joke fighters make me want to drop this sport and watch UFC.
