It's like, "OK, I won. GOD had something to do with it." What about when you lose?
Bradley did that too. It bothers me when guys give all praise to god. **** why not give praise to yourself?

And like I've stated in other threads, Forrest has been old for a while, just carefully handled. People seem to forget that most had Quartey beating him. Quartey being the last good fighter Forrest has faced.

That's why I thought he was the most overrated boxer in the world. You cant ask for a better trail to a title than what Forrest got. A vacant title shot against Baldomir? A softie title defense against Piccirillo (sp)? They chose Mora because they thought he would be another easy defense, and that **** back fired.

Good point Scott, Mora looked stronger too.

Forrest was never overrated, and Ike didn't beat Forrest. Two fists always beat one. He just had an injury plagued career. I think he fights Mora better if they rematch. He took him too lightly.

              correction.

vernon looked like crap tonight. just like he has for most of his fights.

beating a great fighter doesn't make you great yourself. you hear that tarver fans?

Why you picking on Tarver. He's never been ko'ed, he beat Roy twice, beat Glenn Johnson, Eric Harding, and Reggie Johnson. Sure he got his ass beat by Hopkins but he's no chump. Not great- but no chump.

But he's far better than people realize or he woulda got his ass knocked out at least once.

He does a lot of things that people miss and his personality certainly doesn't endear him to the general public but he's got hella skills although they are diminishing as he comes up on 40.

Most everybody was picking Forrest to win and win big including me.

Congratulations to Mora he's the Champion. Makes Leonard look a bit smarter seeing how he always talked good about Mora.

i'm of the opinion that vernon and tarver are overrated because of their wins against greater fighters than themselves are. i'm of the opinion that they were just bad matchups for mosley and roy.

i know it's not a popular opinion but it's mine.

nothing against vernon (aside form me not thinking he's very good) but i dislike tarver.

aside from his classic "got any excuses tonight , roy" line , tarver has never done anything that impressed me.

i can get started on my (probably ****** sounding to most) glen johnson is better than tarver tirade but i'm not really in the mood to argue and debate extensively right now just on here to make little comments here and there or ****** , sarcastic remarks. i'm just waiting for the lakers game...... **** CELTICS! GARNETTS INTENSITY IS A FAKE AS KOBE'S HUMILITY!

besides......if i argue with you right now......it'll be the first time. :-)
