ponce de leon is too good to be disposed of by juanma in just a round. de leon did change his style: sloppy punches (left straight, right hook). this has been prepared well by juanma. once his sloppy punches (or shall i call it lazy punches?) miss the target, that would left his guard open, and juanma's quick right hook would surely hit de leon, and that's what actually happen.

Watched the fight again today, Daniel came out with some murderous intent, but Juanma stayed real calm during those incoming bombs. Juan is a real threat to the division. He's gonna be a featherweight version of Tito Trinidad. The kids got great poise, technique and POWER. Did you all see the size of his calves??? That's the root of the power. And he turns that hook over so beautifully, ala the great hooker, Tito! He'll be in everyone's top ten P4P within a fight or two, trust me.
