I wonder why Dawson chose a clubfighter like Ruiz for his first defense? There were lots of better people available at the time.

I guess he wanted the easiest opponent he could find? But for a WBC title fight, he should have chosen someone better.

I have explained it to you over a thousand times. Paul Briggs was suppose to be fighting for Dawson's WBC belt but turned down the fight at the last moment. Briggs was ranked in the top 10 at time asw well.

How can you put down Dawson when he only has 26 fights? You support fighters like Calzaghe and Kelly Pavlik when they was very protected early in their careers, especially when they only had 26 fights. At least let the man have the title for 2 years before you start to critisize him.
