Boxing is better off without Floyd Mayweather Jr

Some of the most boring fights I've ever seen have been Mayweather's, such as Floyd vs. Baldomir and Floyd vs. DLH.

Not only is he boring to watch, but he carefully hand-picks his opponents. Instead of fighting a prime welterweight like Cotto, he was considering a second fight with past-prime Oscar.

His sportsmanship is poor. He has no respect for the all-time greats, having declared himself to be the best of all time, better than Sugar Ray Robinson.

The sport is better off with real warriors like Cotto and Pavlik taking the highest profile, since their fights are entertaining and will bring new fans to boxing!

Most people who watch Floyd don't find his "safety-first" style entertaining, and so are more likely to turn to MMA for their combat entertainment.

Good riddance. Boxing is better off without Floyd "Money" Mayweather!

PBF thinks he can retire now because he beat Hatton. But doesnt he realize how people have criticised the referee in getting him that win.

PBf isnt that ambitious because he dont want to be the greatest boxer of all time. Just being mentioned along SRL and the Durans of this world he is content with. He dont want to try be above SRR. He has only one attempt at it. If he dont achieve it he may regret it. He needs to come to Manchester to beat Hatton with a manchester referee who is a hatton fan. If he can then beat Hatton he will be alongside SRR. Well that is if he beats Cotto as well and maybe a great light middleweight.
