He's also wasting lots of his money. It's no surprise or coincidence ppl don't warm to him for this, respect him as much as others, and he gets stick for it.

Sorry, great boxer, p4p #1, and it's a shame, but its the truth.
Mayweather has challenged himself a lot more than Joe Calzhage.

    Try and deny it.

Holding a WBO title for 10 years fighting the WEAKEST contenders in boxing and slapping past a 43 Y/O Hopkins won't cut.

Let's see Joe move up 3 weight classes and WIN 3 TITLES ALONG THE WAY.

I notice ya'll aren't clamoring for Calzhage to fight the best at 175

    I wonder why??.....hmmmmmm??

Maybe you're impressed by Tokker Pudwell more than I am.

Floyd will be remembered and respected in a far better light than Joe.Because his peers respect his abilities..boxers laugh at Calzhage's slapping WBO game.

You'll never be able to pawn off the Welsh Rabbit as an ATG..NEVER.

People aren't crazy in real-life as they are in Cyberspace.

Floyd's legacy will be fine. It's Joe's you should worry about.

LOL, you are quite a number. Calzaghe has challenged himself and never ducked and opponent. Anyone willing and wanting to fight him, he fought them. He fought many guys in the top 10 of the division and generally decent opponents, and always won by a big margin showing big heart and skills. Eubank, Sheika, Veit, Brewer, Mitchell, Ashira, Lacy, Kessler and Hopkins. The latter 3 fights mentioned in particular he welcomed the challenge of fighting powerful, renown boxers and was put as under dog by many. He beat the no.1 at LHW you idiot, and most favour him even on this worldly boards with heavy amounts of Americans, to beat the likes of Tarver or Dawson, you subjective plank.

Mayweathers had Cotto willing to fight him for ages and won't fight him. His excuses range, but a key one is, it's now time to make some money. And you think that earns more respect? Your so biased and cynical, without really backing it up, you don't really merit talking to. You can't even take a slight criticism of Mayweather in that part of the reason he wasnt loved and appreciated as much as he could have been, is because he has seemed to put money before the sport, ducked his no.1 challenger, and retired at 31. Christ dude get a grip and chill out. It's not a major criticism or the end of the world, so stop digging.

Floyd should of fought a bunch of guys but he was looking out for his pocket and you guys can never understand that. If a man wants to set up his family for life why hate on that. If you were in that position it would be tough to choose what route to take. Worry about my grandchildren and later generations or satisfy all the fans. Well floyd took the first option stop being so rough on him.
If that's the case then why did he insist on labeling himself the greatest of all time?! If you big yourself up that much you have to prove your worth, and he didn't. He isn't the greatest of all time because he didn't fight the best competition! His arrogant behavior drove his fans away, not his fans drove him away from boxing imo

That was smart. Always take the high road with someone who is out of the picture. That's why when someone dies you always hear his enemies praising him. It's not like he can't change his tune on a minutes notice.
