I have always said this, when a fight is postponed due to a genuine injury, which can be backed up with expert medical opinion, it seems a little unfair to strip a fighter of their title.

Obviously if it the second or third time, then they are not able to defend their belt, so should be stripped, but this is the first time Mcintyre has withdrawn, I believe?

i am not sure . i hope he appeals against it ,i dont think it is fare. He has made a succesful defence against kevin anderson,that means two more wins and he would have the lonsdale belt outright

its a bad day and in boxing for the west of scotland,thats john simpson and kevin mcintyre both lost their belts
