Oscar's waiting for next week to see the outcome of the fights happening this weekend. He's got the winner of the Forrest - Mora fight and Williams - Quintana fight as options. Fighting Quintana for the 147lbs championship would create a huge interest for a Cotto fight. Fans could compare both of their performances against Quintana, it would rally the Puerto Rican fanbase, The Puerto Rico vs Mexican rivalry would be huge and it would create a unification match at 147 with Cotto, provided Cotto gets by Margarito.Comment

I agree. I don't think they would do it. Just 2 months after their figth and they have to fight De la Hoya? Probably I'm thinking De la Hoya might fight Hatton, I don't even know who, and save the fight of Margarito/Cotto for May and of course his last fight of his career.
I don't see him doing his September then December plan.
Maybe, I'd love to see, is Kostya Tszyu come back and fight De la Hoya for his last fight.Comment
