who cares if two fringe contenders fight and the ****ty WBC strap is at stake. If one thinks in term on linear titles, you actually tend to enjoy these bull**** fights more. Think of the WBA, WBC, IBF, and WBO belts as regional titles that those who hold them and who aren't linear champions just happen to be some of the top contenders in the division.

I like Berto and think he's going to do well, but this is kind of a cheap way to get a belt, but at the same time I don't really think belt's mean as much anymore. If anything getting that belt will lead him to some pretty big fights in the future.
