Honestly question, when was your first time seeing him fight?

Genaro Hernandez..... didn't watch him again till he fought Agustus then Corrales but watched every fight after Diego. Don't get me wrong, I was a fan till now.

For a guy with his talent he could have done a lot more,undefeated cotto,Marg,Clottey and of course manny-these are all guys he could have fought and beat in the last 2 or 3 years and would have enhanced his legacy greatly,just my opinion though,if you are satisfied with his career thats cool

He could have. And I was dying for that Cotto fight to happen more than any other at the time. But history shows neither one of them really took the steps to make that fight happen. And like I said, he could have done more in his career, along with every other fighter. I just find it funny how guys act like this dude hasn't done ANYTHING over his ten year or so career based on one weight class.

almost 3 years have gone by since this thread was born and STILL the same opinions about Floyd's career....since the thread, Floyd has fought JMM and Shane....I think I'm one of the few who gives him MAJOR props for the Shane win...regardless of the circumstances dealing with the lay off, age, or any personal problems Shane was having...Floyd was about one or two good shots away from being KTFO but he bit down and bought it to Shane....even me being on the other side had to at how he took that, shook it off, adjusted and left no doubt about who was THE MAN that night....still say "INCOMPLETE" is the 1 word I would say best describes his body of work....its like he took a 50 question test....answered the first 42 questions correctly and just left the remaining ones blank
