    Pacquiao vs De La Hoya

With Floyd 'officially permantely retiring' it seems Pacquiao, Cotto or Hatton would be what DLH is looking for; another mega draw. I know I'm going out on a limb but if Pacquiao and DLH where to fight and Pacquiao loses (even get's his ass knocked out) would he lose any credibility since most wouldn't give Pac a chance anyway???

No. Dela Hoya is the bigger and taller fighter, has way better skills than Pac. Oscar has nothing to gain by beating Pacquiao except Pac. But Pacquiao has a lot to gain if, if a big IF, beats the Golden Boy. Same thing also with Hatton.

the only one who loses credibility in that fight is Oscar delahoya.

It would be similar to gatti vs oscar.

Pacman would just be looked at as a guy with balls enough to fight a bigger man win lose or draw and he would get major props from me.

              This fight would never happen.

Oscar would absolutely destroy Pacquiao and all the Phillipines and the boxing world for that matter would criticize Oscar for fighting a smaller man.

Oscar is the type of guy that wants to be loved by everyone.

                  yup

but it would still be a better match then floyd jr rematch even if pacman demolishes pacman lol

cause floyd jr wont bring in as many ticket sales as pacman would since floyd jr has no real fan base that will travel just to see him have an open workout.

i dont think DLH cares for the belts right now. I would like to see him fight forrest but he would fight Mosley again before Forrest.
