Thanks Floyd : You Are The Greatest

Watching Floyd Mayweathers career unfold has been fantastic to watch. On his debut there was a shy young boxer, who let his uncle talk for him while his dad was in jail. He overcame numerous obstacles. Yet even on that day, the combinations he was throwing for someone on debut, it was obvious he was destined for great things.

To me Floyd Mayweather is the greatest of all time.

    - What SRR had in attack, Floyd made up for it in defence. Floyd's attack was also very good itself.

    - Floyd never lost a fight. Was never knocked down either.

The main point im going to stress here is, that Floyd shouldn't be under rated on the ATG list. The other guys on the list have put in poor performances and everything like that. Floyd deserves to be up there.

And to me he is the number 1 ATG.

Call me controversial but i only think we will realise this in time!

He was good but calling that a stretch is an understatement.

You really think he beats Duran at Lightweight? Leonard or Robinson at Welterweight?

I personally don't think he could even beat Pernell Whitaker, Shane Mosley or De La Hoya in their primes. Each to their own though.

Yes. Without question. Best defence in boxing history.

          Yep.

          He beats them all.

We won't give him credit for it until a few years go by.

In 2018, he will be known as the greatest!

            ridiculous stannery

he was a backfoot boxer who's cowardly style produced boring fights

boxing will be a richer sport without his like at the top

I honestly thought only Horus had that opinion, how can you tell me that Mayweather would beat Hearns, Leonard, Duran, Robinson, Pryor etc? I would probably pick Meldrick Taylor over Mayweather.

Floyd is not the greatest of all time but he is the greatest of his generation.
And if he beat one more undefeated Prime pound for pound fighter in Miguel Cotto. He will be the greatest of the Modern era. IMO

                    Easy.

Those guys haven't fought anyone with a defence remotely as good as Floyds.

It may be boring. but its UD's for Floyd all the way!
