Now who should De La Hoya fight?

assuming Mayweather is actually gone, which I doubt, but still...Who would you like to see De La Hoya fight?

people say Winky but lets face it...I dont find him boring, but casual fans will. and I think we all know that Winky would win, so its not a very fun matchup.

also, lets assume that De La Hoya is not waiting for the winner of Margarito-Cotto and is going to fight once before that. because I think we would all like to see that.

Well now wait a minute; for all we know, the 3 dots version might be the 150 pound version rather then the normal, 154 pound Vernon. So in that case, I'll vote for the top one since he doesn't have to drain to make Oscarweight.

its a really tough choice really. He could go with Vernon Forrest, but Forrest's size might present a problem for DLH. Vernon Forrest on the other hand, well, his power could be a bigger problem for DLH.

ug, a third Mosley-De La Hoya match? the first one was good, but not so much the second. no thanks.

Vernon Forrest is a much more fun matchup, since he is the guy he beat Mosley twice. and a new matchup, I dont care for rematches unless the rematch promises to be something fantastic(Vasquez-Marquez)

I think it would be a fun fight. Forrest is really fun to watch, did you see the bombs he landed on Baldomir? oof.

lol.. this retirement just upsets the balance of things in boxing...

It feels like theres no top dawg anymore...

lol.. WHO can fill the gap besides cotto or margarito? No one really..

I suspect Cotto can climb up to the throne now.

I was just thinking about this fight, Vernon against Oscar would be a good match-up.
