Why I think Floyd "retired" and why Margs has no shot at beating Cotto.

Naw I just think he wants something new. We all knew he was fighting DLH for the money. People didnt want the fight and the money is what motivated him. Now he just wants some time to relax, he;ll be back in a year or 2, let DLH fight Cotto, Cotto wins, then its the return of Floyd Mayweather which will sell this fight because Cotto wont bring as many fans as they would like. So with his "return" people will be anxious to see if he still has it. Then it will sell MILLIONS. like 3 mil.

But with him doing this Im starting to think that Margs has no chance of winning, not because he cant, but because the busines side of boxing wont let him. HE HAS TO KO HIM. But Its already written, I can see it already, Cotto beats Margs, beats DLH by SD so DLH looks like he is going out on his shield, then the return of Floyd, and 3 million + sold for Floyd vs Cotto. We all know that DLH will lose to make more money. Lost to Shane, shanes with GBP, lost to Bernard, Bernard is GBP, lost to PBF, now he CO-PROMOTES PBF fights??!! Thats how it will go down. Sorry Margs, I want you to win, and you will in the court of public opinion, but boxing wont let you.

Well Goddamnit thank you for predicting the future. Now it's no fun anymore!

Hehe, well yes, I agree with you. I made a post like this earlier as well. Floyd is letting Boxing milk Cotto and do the work for him to come out of retirement in a mega fight. Atleast, that's what I THINK.

That could be the case.. by him retiring he avoids all the "ducking" talk and doesn't have to fight anybody.
Then if they all lose he can come back and act like he never ducked anybody.
If Cotto wins and fights DLH and wins.. he prob. stay retired though lol

Yeah DLH will take a loss to make a financial gain, and thats what PBF vs Cotto would be.

Floyd retired because wanted to retire from boxing not have boxing retire him.

basically he didnt want a loss mainly to Cotto so he did what he said he would do retire from boxing
