I smell bull****.Doesnt DLH have the rematch clause in the contract? If Mayweather doesnt fight him then DLH might ask Cotto or Margo after July. But i still dont buy it, he just wants to get a bigger cut thats all.

It Doesn't Matter What He Does.. Mayweather Runs Boxing As Of Right Now... There Would Not Be This Much Fuss If Miranda Retired...or Kessler.. Or Pavlik.. Or Jermaine Taylor.. Or Margorito...

Cotto Is Building So I Dunno... He's The Runner Up So There Might Have Been A Riot In Puerto Rico.

wow...you know that maybe the truth....i can imagine dlh asking for crazy splits even tho he lost and floyd feeling like hes done a lot of work crossing over into the mainstream (plus the fact that he won the 1st fight) feeling he deserves a bigger portion for this fight and oscar turning it down......floyd then retires to wait for a potentially even bigger payday with cotto down the road.

The chances of his beating more than a very few of the above would be slight.
AND....How could I have forgotten the greatest of them all- Sugar Ray Robinson.
Robinson had many of his wins against top middleweights when hewas wll under the Welterweight limit. In fact when he fought Joey Maxim for the light heavy title he weighed well below middleweight. He lost a further 10 lbs duting the fight which was called after 13 rounds, of which Robibnson had won 10 on all judges cards. Maxim wore him out by coming invery heavy, about 185 and draping himself over Robinson at every oportunity.

lets give him this much IF it's a legit retirement... he doesnt have the fire for the sport anymore.. he's getting out before he loses to a lesser fighter... how many fighters have actually done that... not many... i think his legacy will be a huge question mark cuzz he never faced the hard nosed fighters like the cotto's and moselys and guys like that but he did beat some good fighters and he will go down as not the greatest but a good solid fighter...

It's amazing how many people want to see him GO. If he's the P4P best, how do you explain people saying good ridance to Floyd. He refuses to fight the very best, that's the only reason he's undefeated. He knows he's not up for the Oscar fight; Oscar's coming to knock his ass out (with Sr in the corner). What else for him to do, than back out and retire, he played his wild card, ****in *****.

Now that Cotto will get a de la hoya shot if he beats Margie wat will be the knock on Cotto? Waiting to watch the forum hypocrisy! PBF top 10 P4P all-time no doubt.
