It was awful officiating but the referee was named Alfredo Garcia Perez and came from a region of Germany known as "Spain".

This whole article seemed to be attempting to exonerate the referee for horrible horrible officiating. It was a dodgy ****ing ref job, dodgy dodgy dodgy, and there were a lot of inexcusable behaviour.
