Hatton (who he completely outclassed) and De La Hoya are great fighters.
Anyone who had lost 3 of his last4 had no business anywhere near the best fighter in the world so delahoya dont count as great. Hatton was the 1 legitimate fight but you still have 6 years worth of fighting unaccounted 4 buddy.

Chavez never unified a single division.

At least Floyd never quit like Chavez.

at Rogers time it was okay to loss, you get back on you feet and a good fight in no time but now days boxing is about the money.

A loss could me a long career on halt enless if you have Bob Arum behind you back to make you the most feared fighter in boxing then you cool
Hernandez IS a bum, he lost all big fights... he lost to Kevin Kelley for christ sakes!

He didnt take the weakest titlist but he took the WBC title on each division if you have been following Floyd. That is because he could be an easy contender in division without going through the political boxing situation. Even the WBC gave Floyd his title shot just one year when becoming pro as well as when he went up ti LW he straight away faced Castillo for the title. Even when beating Zab Judah and taken the IBF he vacated it.

The wins he got is good but not great when going up in the weightclass like that you dont face every mother**** in the weightclass because that is a wast of time and career boxing is not like other sport. You fight couple of time per year and if you are had a bad night in one of the fight your career is going back abit and slows down not like Basketball, Tennis,...etc there is alway a next time. The old time the fighters could take a risk because they know they could get another chance quick not like today's fighters.

Anyway Margarito and Cotto still have long way in there career to prove something. Margarito just won a belt from Cintron that he already won and if he wins Cotto he still didnt accomplished elite status because he need to beat Williams, Santos and get a title at 154 and maybe 160. Same thing with Cotto.

both Hernadez were good when Floyd beaten them.

Carlos was good contender and Genora was a good champion that only lost twice.
