    Analyze a boxer's weakness...

This game is simple. Pick a well liked boxer with a decent fan base and tell us what you think his biggest weaknesses are. Don't pick a bum obviously cos that's too easy. Undefeated fighters are even better, what do you think will be the Achilles heel that threatens his 0?

I'll start by picking Pavlik. He's well liked by all, including me for one simple reason: He's entertaining as hell, he's an action fighter, and he's got great heart. But I think the one thing that could be his downfall is his predictable style. He's undefeated right now because he's great at what he does, but that's not to say that his style doesn't have flaws. Not to take anything away from his power, determination or any of his other positives, but he's a conventional, textbook fighter. Push forward regardless, and make your will your biggest weapon (that and the straight right). I just think that any one dimensional or incomplete boxer is just one wrong matchup away from getting exposed. I think another big thing is his lack of speed. He's so slow on his feet, I think if he were to fight someone like Calzaghe who is constantly making you readjust, he'd never be able to set up square enough to throw a decent cross.

    Ok, your turn.

        hmmm......

Bowe = has a glass groin
Ruiz = denied entry into judo tournaments for excessive clinching
Tarver = most excited i was seeing him in the ring was in ROCKY XIV
Judah = fear of beating a good opponent
Trinidad = no one told him he needs to block a jab in boxing.
Toney = round is a shape but that doesn't mean you're in shape
Cotto = he's not nor will he ever be felix "tito" trinidad
Pacquiao = does not respect his elders
Marquez = his urge to be penetrated
Barrera = richloc is a fan of his
Mosley = vernon "the pretender" forest
Tyson = robin "the pretender" givens
Jones Jr. = contract negotiation skills
Floyd Jr. = please see family tree
De La Hoya = need to feel pretty in fishnets
Hopkins = boring , ugly , foul-filled , dirty style and lack of dental plan
Vitali = durability , in staying healthy not in a fight
Calzaghe = his welsh nuthuggers , i'd say british but hatton's fans are normal
Wladimir = guys with pop and can take punishment
Tua = addiction to deep fried bananas
        Fields = none
Holyfield = if god wanted you to keep fighting , you'd think he'd at least let you win some

          Pacquiao - weight-drain
Tua - caused John Ruiz to win a title nuff said
Tye Fields - Yeah like he has any weaknesses
Margarito - comes forward all the time; if he didn't have such a chin he'd be KO'd
Wlad - chin plays a factor which is why he fights cautiously
Vitali - Let's ask Thread Stealer
Byrd - shot, can't slip punches the way he used to at HW
          Hopkins - punch output
Ruiz - problems w/ slicksters and the crowd

He keeps the maniac Vitali fans in check. Don't get me wrong, I love Vitali's style, especially the Herbie Hide and Danny Williams ass kickings, but he gives them a reality check.

i think i remember him. did he get banned? i don't see him on here anymore.

on vitali though he has his weaknesses but if he could only stay healthy he could have unified. obviously if him and wlad switched places and wlad was the one that retired. vitali holding wba/wbc and wlad holding wbo/ibf both being #1 and #2 with no ring champ would've been awful for heavyweight boxing imo.

                    Imagine if this scenario happened:

Thompson pulls off the upset over Wlad by a TKO in 6. He takes the IBF/WBO titles.

Vitali Klitschko makes it through training camp, fights and beats Samuel Peter. Vitali, not Wladimir, gets a unification going with Thompson for three belts (and basically the undisputed title). That would be hilarious.
