    Can Margarito even beat Quintana?

Could he land the accurate punches and lay the smackdown on Quintana like Cotto did OR would he suffer the same fate his taller buddy Paul Williams suffered and get outboxed and out maneuvered for 12 rounds. After all, Paul Williams has more game then Margarito since he looked like a decent boxer against Margarito in some of the rounds, particulary the 12th. And he couldn't do it. Margarito has only one game in his arsenal and is slower then The Punisher.

Way to contribute to a thread with personal insults when you have nothing logical to respond with. Thanks for stopping by bird.

I think Quintana is one of the guys Margarito shouldn't fight.

The main reason Quintana lost to Cotto is because he underestimated him. He still underestimates him, since after the fight he told the press that Cotto doesn't hit that hard.

Quintana can easily box Margarito to a UD. Easily. In fact, if they do fight in the future, expect me to bet heavily.

Not only can he beat him but knock him out as well, I would put my money on Margarito if a rematch takes place.

I stand corrected, I thought we were talking about Williams, and yes he beats Quintana as well. I would predict a close match though, Quintana is a smart fighter.

Quintana seemed to crumble under the constant pressure from Cotto. Of course, Cotto is more accurate than Margarito, but Margarito's work rate accompanied with his power may be enough to fluster Quintana. Only way I see this fight going Quintana's way is if he's on his bicycle for 12 rounds which is a daunting task.

Agreed entirely, however i would still favor Cotto over Quintana. Its the style match up, Cotto is a guy that could take what Quintana has to dish out and still execute his game plan. I also don't think that Quintana believes that Cotto doesn't hit hard. Quintana wouldn't have quit on his stool grimising in pain if that was the case. I see Quintana doing some big things in the sport, but Cotto is the man that he should definitely avoid rematching.
