The Pink Floyd s, all they do is go on about how much money Floyd can make fighting DLH and Hatton, they dont want to see him in with the best in his division, just wanna see his ass retire with his O and ride off into the sunset with his bank balance bulging.

There is a difference between caring how much money Floyd makes and just justifying his business decisions. You got a dayjob that gets you paid and boxing is just a hobby/form of entertainment to you. To the boxer, fighting is his job. They get no pensions after retirement or nothing. So while you're hot, you cash in as much money as you can while the flame is still burning. Simple as that. So do I care about Floyd's account? No I just like to kill time and debate you idiots who simplify everything down to "Floyd is a coward, Floyd is ducking this (insert name here)".

We are only fans. Boxers get paid when we pay or tune in to see them. Its purely entertainment for us. Why should we care and debate thier business decisions? Boxers have advisors, laywers, managers, promoters, etc to worry about all of that for them. It should be none of our concern. Why is it that i dont see any fans of ANY other boxer, using money as an excuse for thier favorite fighter to avoid someone. Its only Floyd fans who use that excuse.

im going to say floyd nuthuggers are more annoying because they have been around longer...

but if cotto keeps winning (ie. beats margarito, etc.) then i expect them to get equally annoying...just like the floyd nuthuggers the day after oscar lost floyd...it was crazy around here...the WHOLE NSB front 3 pages were filled with floyd is great threads...

I honestly think its a "race" thing. Most (not all) Floyd fans are young black men, who are just happy to see a black man in the position Floyd is in. They dont care about him fighting the best in order to prove himself. They are just happy that he's succesfull. Thing is, this isnt a contest about who can make the most money. Its a sport. I want EVERY boxer to get thier due, but im not gonna justify for example: Cotto not fighting the #1 threat to his crown, just because the guy isnt a major ppv star. Why the **** would i care how many viewer his opponent can pull in? Im not recieving any ppv profits. I just wanna see a good competitive matchup between 2 of the sports best.
