ESPN Friday Night Fights! June 20th to show MMA and Boxing together live!

I heard ESPN will air a Friday night fights at the thomas and mack on june 20th and will have 5 mma fights on the card and 2 boxing matches...

This is good hopefully the MMA fans will also appreciate Boxing...but this may hurt boxing because if the MMA fight is Exciting and the Boxing matches are Boring it will hurt Boxing!

because then people will say oh this mma is more exciting.

so its a double edge sword in some ways.

    hope it does great anyway.

Good. I much prefer MMA fights in a ring than a cage. It's gonna be some pretty low caliber guys though.

10 guys that boxing fans don't give a **** about. This is the one time I'll feel sorry for Teddy and Joe.

can't blame them for trying to cash in on casual boxing fans who go both ways.
some, like me can sit thru a boring boxing match but not a boring mma.

sat thru my first mma last weekend. it played on regular tv. was impressed
with the gals bout and other bouts leading up to kimbo. man that kimbos face... ha ha ha hee. he was painfully tired . and all those forearms to the head with evidently little damage. funny as all get out. his fckg bowlingball head. he he! and that look on his face...he he... like he's about to cry from his mom slapping him. good for a laugh . consider it entertaining if i dont have to pay to watch and it immediatly follows boxing on the same channel.

This doesn't sound right and I hope it's not true. I can't stand MMA as it is and I don't want it shoved down my throat. I watch FNF for BOXING.

Well we will see how this goes. I just hope they do this too often. The way they are covering these MMA fight's on ESPN as of late I wouldn't doubt if they did.

Im pretty sure espn isnt going to televise the mma. I read its just a dual card. Boxing on tv only, i could be wrong though
