Rightfully so .... but OLDH vs FORBES was supposed to mirror that fight.Forbes was supposed to not even go a couple rounds with ODLH. And Gomes wanted Cotto , Forbes was hand picked son.

You don't think Gomez was hand picked? You don't think Forbes wanted the fight with ODLH? WTF

If you think that either Margarito or Cotto would just steam role over DLH even at this stage of his career, your crazy.

I would even go as far to say that is the same DLH that fought Mayweather fought Marg or Cotto right now, he could win.

DLH is much better in his prime than either of these fighters but don't think that he's completely washed up either. A year can make a fighter old and we don't know if DLH has anything left in the tank but since he's never really took much punishment in his career, I don't see why he still couldn't have 2 more good fights left in him.

lets put this in perspective. when was the last time ODLH actually fought like ODLH?

                almost 6 goddamned years ago.

To me it would be the Quartey fight, because that's the last big fight where he did not gas out, but in a more realistic perspective his performance against Hopkins was excellent, (still 4 years ago by the time of this rematch) and he looked spectacular against Mayorga, but who doesnt?

Granted the opponent was Mayorga, but he still looked pretty good.

NO, Oscar is an old worn fat man and Cotto and Marg are in their primes.
Not too mention Cotto is undefeated and has plowed through just about all his opposition.
DLH hasn't had a significant victory in over 6 years and the only thing not worthy as of late was a victory over an old Mayorga.
