I dunno, it's not like Hearns was fighting great opposition at cruiserweight. Ruiz gets a lot of criticism but he was much better than Hearns' cruiserweight opponents.

Then again Ruiz was KO'd in one round by David Tua.

Then again Tua hit really ****ing hard.

Even though Jones didn't go for the knockout often, he was more of a speed equals power kind of guy, he normally caught his opponents without them seeing the punch because he was so fast and punched at awkward angles.

I think Hearns had more natural, raw power.

I cant really argue with that... maybe Hearns did in fact have more raw power...

Hearns is one of the greatest punchers in boxing history.

And what's with all this talk about Jones carrying power to HW? The Ruiz fight was a decision. It's not like Roy put him to sleep or has another fight you can use as an example.

Hearns may not have fought the best comp at cruiser but he KO'd people on more than one occasion at that weight.
