Anyone else think this site is the worst for POP-ups on the whole internet

It is pretty bad, which is why I never look at boxingscene itself and just come straight to the forums.

I do not get any popups at all, and I don't have a popup blocker installed. I do sometimes see words underlined in green which display a little ad panel, but thats it.

I think you probably have a trojan on your system that is displaying the popups, and I'm guessing you notice it on this site maybe because you use this one the most?

Do a google search for vundofix, then install that and run it. It's not guaranteed to solve your problems, there are thousands of potential trojan and viruses, but it is one of the most common, so I'd try it.

There was a thread only week ago about ppl complaining of spyware from the site, plus pop ups, and noting that when a page is loading, particularly forum page, in the status bar all kinds of odd dubious sites make connections. I'm convinced something isn't quite right as I've never had so many spyware, pop and other problems before in years, even working for IT companies, as I have since I joined this site. Great shame, something is definitely not right, there's no smoke without fire.

Use Firefox, adblock addon, there's others too. Plus there's a range of other pop up and spyware tools.
