Quintana on Williams: "The last fight was signed the day before"

"The last fight was signed the day before. Also, a month before fight night they called to tell me that the fight was off. There were various factors against me, but this time I've been training hard for seven to eight weeks. We know him, we've fought him, and we know he's a great fighter... I know it will be a tough fight, and if I don't knock him out, I've got to be prepared to punch and get over 12 rounds, but we hope that the result will be the same: win"

Quintana will be attending the Puerto Rican Day Parade in NYC.

This is the reason I'm picking Williams. That first fight the opponent kept getting changed on him and he never really had any time to focus/prepare.

Paul has a chance but Carlos will beat him more decively this time. His style is all wrong for Paul.

Why cant Williams fans just admit that he got beat fair and square, and stop making up all kinds of excuses. Williams isnt even making as many excuses as u guys are. He said that he had an off night, and Quintana was the better man.

Whoa...who says I'm a Williams fan? I dislike Williams for the same reason I dislike Marge, they are simply volume punchers with not much more to offer. With that being said I still think he whoops Quintana.

Dont we have a 10k bet on this fight? You have to put it in your sig.

You and I both know about the bet, why does it need to be in the sig? Why is it not in yours?

I really have no idea about this fight. It could have been a bad styles matchup, but I don't think Williams would have jumped into the immediate rematch if it was. Then again, Shane Mosley didn't think Wright or Forrest were bad style matchups either.

isn't having an off-night and getting the opponent changed on you and never really having any time to focus/prepare the same thing???
