I don't think he was trying that hard, it didn't seem to be serious sparring. The other guy was quite small, at the beginning of the clip there was some joking going on, Kessler even making noises. He even seemed reluctant to hit him again after a hard shot, as if it was either a new sparring partner testing out, or just not a serious spar so much.

When he did try to throw a combination it was ok. Even in the corner there seemed to be a jokey attitude so no way was that Kessler trying or showing what he can really do.

What fights have you seen of his other than Calzaghe? Kessler throws some of the best combinations in boxing.
