[U]jabs:[/U] advantage goes to cotto......he can jab and move........margs uses his jab as a range finder......he can land it too....more like a ******* jab.......i don't think cotto's jab will bother margs.......but it can score points........

lefthook: advantage goes to cotto.......cotto has a great left hook......he can throw it to the body and head.......margs left hook is hard also, but his target has to be stationary for it to land.........

right hand: advantage goes to margs........cotto has no right hand.......like dlh, like tito....no right hand.....he lands the right hand, but it has no power on it at all.........margs can punch hard and consistent with his right hand.........what margs does smart is that if he sees his punch land, he will try it again and again......fool you, and try it again....perfect for what a smart, plodding puncher should do........

body punching: even........both can punch to the body.......i think cotto has better technique.........but margs is no slouch in that department............to close to call.........so both are even.......

legs/movement: advantage cotto........he can move.........he showed this in a few fights.......margs isn't slow footed.........he is just patient and walks his man down.......no dancing from margs.......

chin: margs.......have we ever seen him hurt???.......cotto is undefeated and has shown resiliency......but i have yet to see margs truly hurt.....

heart: even........we have not seen margs heart truly tested yet..............but we have seen cotto's......both do not want to lose........

speed: advantage cotto........margs is longer........

defense: margs.....margs walks in looking at you punch, and trying to land his shots while using defense......cotto can be hit, but he isn't a slouch on defense either.......but he can be hit easier than margs.......

uppercuts: advantage margs.he loves this punch...it will be hard to land on cotto since he is taller........but if it lands......look out.......

who wins and why? this is a tough fight to call....i've gotten on both fans of these 2, but i respect both fighters.....i think that styles make fights.......cotto can outbox margs........and margs knows going in that he can't hesitate to attack the way hagler did when he fought leonard......cotto will box......he can get in and out..more like wait until margs gets in range, and **** margs hard and move.....but something is telling me that margs is going to just keep trucking....and i think he can wear cotto out.....i see this fight going 2 ways......either cotto is going to totally outclass margs to a decision..........or that margs will tko cotto in round 11.........i'm going with margs in 11......but who ever wins.......should floyd not take this fight after dlh.....if he even fights dlh........there will be some serious questions about floyd.....i'm a floyd fan, but i'm a converted floyd fan........one minute i rooted for hernandez and manfredy to ko floyd.........lol....i know.......the next minute i'm rooting for floyd to ko chico.....i was a home grown roy jones fan.....still am.....but i'm a converted floyd fan.....i thought he would be another mel taylor.........boy was i wrong.......margs tko in 11.......

i have been saying this for months. He KO's Cotto the same way KP did JT. But I say 10 or 11. Margs is just to heavy handed for Cotto late in the fight.
