I think beating a blown up welterweight would be an extremely fitting way for Bernard to end his career...

      If it ain't broke...

Hopkins' fights have ALWAYS been boring, interspersed with clever, numerous fouls. Correction, in his early days, when he could move a round a bit, and didn't have the overblown puffed up undeserved reputation he has today, he was a far more interesting fighter.

I believe that Jones would beat him again, probably easier this time. As for Trinidad, it's a toss-up. Trinidad has a massive body attack. But I think it all depends on how far Hopkins will reduce his weight since he actually IS and always has been a light heavy. Although masquerading successfully for years as a middleweight. 165 would make it a goodish fight, I think.

Hopkins would actually beat them both.

in either fight i think it's a good way for hopkins to get a win in his last fight before he retires...............

if not, **** it, you know, hopkins doesn't have anything to prove really, he was top dog in his division for 10+ years, went up two divisions and became the man there, now after all that, he doesnt' have anything to prove to any one but himself i guess, and i don't see anything wrong with hopkins trying to cash in on a big fight before he retires from fighting, 90% of his career has been flying below the radar, so it only seems fair that he gets a nice retirement check, he's already got the gold watch.........
COME ON NOW, Hopkins really isn't "the man" in the Lt heavy div.

IM getting tired of all these fighters claiming it's their last fight just to hype up their current fight.

You sound so definite that you must have specific proof that you're not showing us. MY claim was, in truth, just my studied opinion or belief, and I'm always willing to be corrected. But it must be LEGIT.

Naah. I just think he would. Trinidad, I mean that one is for sure, Hopkins is just too big. Jones has a better chance, but I think he is too far out of prime now whereas Hopkins is still a genuine elite level guy.
