Maybe because he wanted to fight Spinks or Mosley more than Baldomir.....

Let me get this straight, first of all you're chastising him for fighting Baldomir then you're slating him for not making Baldomir his first choice of opponent?

Not at all. Im just trying to clear up what the Floydboyz claim. They claim that Floyd fought Baldomir because he was the lineal WW champ, and he wanted to go after his titles. If that's the case, why did he chase Spinks and Shane first?

I was referring to easy championship and "bragging rights", but yes, since he was paid, it refers also to easy money without ANY risk whatsoever.

              Gomez > Baldo

Funny thing though, Gomez has never won a title. So ****** me, he's actually never accomplished something in his career. Unlike say um...Baldomir.

Once again : Peter ****in Manfredo.

Wait wait, point to me the thread where I commented on If baldo was a bum or not?

Again, one accomplished something the other didn't.

Baldo > Gomez's do nothing sorry ass.

If Gomez had some sort of linear title, well I could see Cotto fighting him. The point being, if you call out Floyd on fighting Baldo, you'd better call out Cotto on fighting Gomez.

                  Dummy.

The main reason is because he wanted to capture the WBC belt in every weight class because he deems it the "real" belt. He already had plans to fight Judah for the WBC belt but Judah blew it. So naturally, he fought Baldomir.

                    That was always my understanding.
