Casamayor vs JMM, Juan Diaz vs Katsidis, Campbell vs Guzman?

******************.com is reporting that a mid-October pay-per-view bout between Joel Casamayor and Juan Manuel Marquez is being planned by Golden Boy, which would then leave Juan Diaz to face Michael Katsidis in September in Houston, Texas.

With all this, Nate Campbell's new WBO mandatory would be Joan Guzman.

For all this talk of Campbell-Casamayor and just who is the real ruler of the lightweight division, I don't think anyone can argue that these are some pretty good fights that are taking place in what is a very fertile division.

With Manny Pacquiao entering the mix (and I do expect him to best WBC titlist David Diaz at the end of the month) things should get only more interesting.

Diaz vs Katsidis would be unbelievable but all of these fights would be interesting and exciting in what is IMO the best division in boxing right now.

I agree that lightweight is the best division out there. All three of the fights would be great, but I have to say I'd like to Campbell and Guzman go at it the most.

Campbell-Guzman could be a very good fight but I think that Diaz' and Katsidis' styles will make for a great fight.

Diaz-Katsidis would obviously be great as neither guy fights going backwards, they'd meet each other in the centre of the ring. Michael has quite a significant power advantage, but I think Diaz would smother him, I don't think it would be all that difficult a fight for Juan, he's faster and throws more punches, and Katsidis cuts/has a terrible defence. Mike has a punchers chance

Damn, that sucks for Jesus Chavez. i talked to his trainer 2 days ago and they were hoping Diaz would take on casamayor so Jesus could take on Katsidis, then the winners would face each other.

I would really like to see Campbell-Guzman! All of those fights are appealing to me.....
