Beside koing Darchinyan im still not buying the hype. He hasn't proven to me the punch he landed wasn't a lucky counter punch.

if valero have fought against any of the high-calibered boxers i've mentioned, then i would say that valero has the right to face pacman.

Pac destroyed ledwaba on the undercard of lewis tyson which stole the show. Larry Merchant was quoted believing he just seen a ATG in the making after the fight. Barerra just came off the biggest win of his career against naseem hamed and was ranked #3 in the world p4p when he got destroyed by a noname Pacquiao who fought on 4days notice.

A little story about being avoided :

When Barrera was considered among the TOP 3 fighters pound 4 pound. Manny Pacquiao was the IBF Champion 1 division lower than Barrera. At time Pacquiao realizes that he can beat up barrera he told his then promoter Murrad Muhammad to arrange a showdown with Barrera. Pac's trainer didnt even agree with the idea. PAC's team made an offer and talked to barrera's team. We already know what happened. Props to barrera.

Now with Guzman... I think he SHOULD demand a super bout and terminate his manager or promoter if they dont deliver. because its really getting ridicuolus reallly. "Guzman is being avoided by Pacquiao because Pac's team didnt offer a fight"??
