I heard Cotto/Judah did 160,000 and Arum and HBO were reluctant about releasing the figure to the press. When they did it was 225000

You hear 225,000 from the people counting the money and don't believe it, so where did you come up with 160,000 buys? There is no official commission to track these things. Where does the credibility of the lower number come from?

so where does the credibility of the higher number come from? His OWN Promoter Bob Arum? who waited weeks to announce the "numbers"? Mayweather did more than Baldomir...Jeez

It always takes weeks for the numbers to be counted. Who else is going to know except the promoter and networks involved? The fighters usually get better payoffs if the count is higher, so why would he lie about it for his own ego but at his own expense? Once again, what is the source for the 160,000 count? This isn't like TV ratings which are announced to the public.

who ****in cares about PPV ****in numbers. It's pathetic that we are even engaging in these kinds of discussions. It truly is. PPV ****ed everything up.

New England Patriots: Nah NY Giants, step yo PPV game up and maybe you can challenge us in the superbowl son! Could you imagine? Sounds ridiculous, but it's exactly the state of our sport.
