I think hatton has the general fans respect overall...

He's absolutely LOVED in england and floyd is hated almost everywhere by many.

I think it comes to personality with these two and hatton appears to be the much more humble; down to earth guy.

Floyd comes across as infatuated with money, and has no conern to give the fans what they want to give a reasonable top welterweight fighter a shot at him.

I think in terms of legacy floyd has completely beat out hatton...he's a multi-division champ and while some question his level of competition from time to time winning titles in X amount of weight classes is STILL beating good competition.

But as i said if were talking about fans opinion only then hatton is more respected. I mean he sold 55K for a tune-up fight...floyd couldnt sell 55K for a tune-up fight...never.
