Who knows, but I see at least 50 Pro Joe and Anti Pavlik threads every day. Everyone tries to make Pavlik unworthy as an opponent for Joe. I say it is a great fight and it needs to happen.

a lot of people say calzaghe's hands are quicker, but about 80% of the entire fight joe slaps with his punches. so of course slapping would be much quicker than punching

Yeah I think it is a great test for both of them. Both are in their prime although Joe will probably decline soon due to his age. I think it is a great fight that both can lose. Joe is getting older and Pavlik has never fought a southpaw who can give angles. Being a boxing fan and all, I want to see it happen and may the best man win. Some like this thread starter though makes me kinda wonder!hehe

Calzaghe is probably a bad fight for Pavlik... but what if Hopkins had the power of Pavlik??? would Calzaghe have been able to get up from that knock down??

Kelly Pavlik impressed me against Taylor but I think he's there for the taking, the guy wont be around for much longer and he is tailor (no pun intended) made for Calzaghe.

I'd give an older Roy Jones a better shot than Kelly Pavlik at beating Calzaghe.
