Why Are You Guys Upset Over Cotto-Mosley 2?

You can easily tell that Floyd is on cruise control right now in terms of speeding through fights. Cotto fights Margarito 2 months before the Floyd-Oscar fight. That means that if Cotto wins then they can schedule a Mosley fight for 4 months later, around late December. Floyd nowdays will always chill for like 2 months anyway so whats the big deal? Then after the Mosley fight they can then schedule the Floyd fight 4 months later again which will be 6 months for Floyd.

You also have Floyd talking about Cotto's PPV sales so if Cotto does well against Margarito and then has another fight with Shane where they should do some good numbers then I could see Floyd getting very intruiged with that fight, e****ally if he himself dominates a big guy like Oscar. However, I think another good scenerio is both Cotto & Floyd winning, then Oscar gives Cotto the big money farewell fight, while Floyd fights Mosley. Unlike others, I think Floyd would definatly fight Shane at any time. The Oscar fight would give Cotto the mainstream fame that Floyd wants him to have and a Mosley fight for Floyd would be a big money fight against a huge name for his legacy vs a guy who is almost a "tuneup" for the Cotto fight

Cotto is going to beat that ass again. What is the point?
Miguel has Tony and that is a fight I don't mind watching.
Bring on Floyd next. Bring on ODLH next but not another Mosley fight. Cotto will just kick his ass again. Been there and done that.

That may be true but there are alot of people who dont think that Cotto kicked his ass and although they would rather see a Floyd fight, they definatly would take a Mosley rematch if the other is not available

I've already seen Cotto-Mosley. I've already seen Mayweather-DLH. Those matchups are stale. Give me something fresh.

The only way i woulnt mind watching another cotto vs mosley 2 is if this scenerio plays out. Mosley fights the winner of quintana-williams. If Cotto wins against margo he could face Clottey, if he wins, to unify. If clottey doesnt win then just go straight to mosley. But if Mosley has a title to unify then he should fight cotto. He hasnt fought or done anything to merit a rematch. If he has a title it would be a better way to sell the fight. Not like DLH-PBF where no titles are at stake.

Why should he have to do anything to get a rematch? Its not like this is a situation where Cotto owned him and its now 3 years later and people are asking do you want to see a rematch. The fight itself is the reason why he should get a rematch, atleast thats what the people say who think it was a really close fight or that maybe even Mosley won it. Alot of people give immediate rematches without the loser doing anything because the fight warranted it. Does this fall in that catagory? How close was the fight?

If Cotto can't fight Floyd he might as well fight MOsley...

Cotto/Mosley was a close fight and IMHO Mosley deserves a rematch in VEGAS!!!

Cotto should try and destroy Mosley in convincing fashion... that would up his reputation, promotion and hype considerably.

So cotto is fighting margo,a tough fight, then just go back to mosley like ok we can fight again now.Mosley is getting older,he should fight someone to keep him in shape. Cause I hope people dont think hes going to win this time without being active in the ring, that is my point.I dont have a problem with a rematch but wasnt peoples excuses for dlh loosing to floyd was that he wasnt active. Isnt that the same thing. Yes fighters do give immediate rematches, but when they are called for.NO ONE has called for an immediate rematch when Cotto won.Not schaefer not mosley.Molsey himself claimed he lost to cotto. They are just doing this to give him his last big payday, how is that not abvious?
