Those fights are stay busy fights. In Cotto's case, he turns around and fights Margarito just a few months later. Floyd hardly fights, and when he does they're meaningless to the boxing world.

Fighters who spend the bulk of their time takin on tough comp are entitled to a stay busy/tune up fight here and there. Floyd's stans always go all out on here when he gets criticized for sumthin. Cotto has been fighting towards WW unification (with exception of Gomez). Floyd (The WW champ) has been fighting anyone other than any WW's. If that's what he wants, fine, but he really should relenquish the title so that the real fighters can battle it out for it, and give us fans a treat.
