Mayweather is not a true WARRIOR

"They say that Calzaghe slaps with his punches, but at least he wants to fight the best fighters.. and at least he reigned as champion for 11 years, still undefeated. Last time i checked Mayweather lost to Castillo in there first fight. Mayweather isnt a true warrior because his hit and run(cheap) style of fighting does not put bums in seats and will not gain him respect as an all time great. Hatton has a loss but his stock has gone up, he has surpassed Mayweather and De la Hoya in terms of box office(PPV)"

Keep checking. I've seen it change time and time again.

Who the **** has called Mayweather a "true warrior." He is a pure boxer. Don't watch his fights if you don't like him.

Edit: Ha ha. You put me on ignore for that? I guess you can't handle someone who has a different opinion.

Did you put everyone else who disagreed with you in this thread on ignore too?

      i second that.

we love boxers who are warriors but you don't have to be a warrior to be a boxer.

he fights the way he does. he fights who he signs to fight. i don't watch him to be honest with you unless it's someone i think that can beat him.

we put too much into being tough or being a warrior or courage in boxing. boxing is just a sport and contrary to what we think. to be honest courage and toughness is desired but not really needed imho. if you don't like him then just don't buy his ppv.

This sport is called boxing and that's what Mayweather does, he boxes.

I do think Castillo pulled out the decision in their first fight though.

I don't really care if Floyd is not a "true warrior". He's a great boxer and I'm a boxing fan. That's enough for me.

There isn't much to discuss, it is what it is...
I agree with everything that statement is offering, EVERYTHING!!!
If anything, that paragraph is being a little kind to Floyd...

ok, your thread is bogus, floyd knocked hatton out, floyd has heart, cal doesn't slap.........and floyd is undefeated........there is no loss to castillo.........hatton beat castillo.............floyd beat both..........hatton has a loss.........floyd doesn't........and no matter how you spin it.........floyd is undefeated............

yeah he is no Duran or Hagler but he is teh definition of a true boxer ands when he isnt running it is great to watch him paint his masterpiece. He did lose to Castillo though but hey Vargas Loss to Winky Wright and Oscar loss to Felix Sturm but no one seems to talk about that. Why dont real boxing fans just boycott the Oscar and Floyd fight wait a freaking week and watch it on HBO. I am a true fna and thats what Im gonna do.
