i'm a big fan of both these families of boxers. i don't really care what their records are or if someone is padded or lazy or whatever, i'm a boxing fan. i watch all fights, not just the super elite or whatever. this imo would be a good fight.

        Camacho Sr.

Hector Camacho Sr. will be fighting at Reliant Arena in Houston on 7/18 versus Perry Ballard for the WBE J.Middleweight belt. Angelo Dundee will be in his corner.

...maybe in New Mexico, Texas, & Arizona

I still wanna see Gomez vs Chavez Jr. Get him some real competition already. He's almost like another Andre Ward.

that's a stron point there, chavez jr is kinda one dimensional still,
camacho has way more movement and could give chavez jr some trouble in target,
not a punching threat but a UD threat

Yeah, I mean he's a southpaw and is pretty fast if he is in shape, pretty hard to hit. From what I have seen of Chavez Jr., Camacho Jr.'s style could give him a lot of trouble.

Chavez reminds me of some lanky, decent-but-never-great amatuer. Anyone know his Am record?

He didn't have an amateur career.
