yeah why do people think Judah showed heart against Cotto he got beat up plain and simple what are we supposed to pat him on the back ,he stops punching & goes into survival mode after 5 rounds in all his biggest fights

if he kept punching against Cotto and got beat or stopped i would have a lot more respect for him

Tarver is underrated because he made his name beating Roy Jones who did and still does hold US boxing in his thrall.

There is so much affection for Jones that we have all quite failed to appreciate the supremely awkward and very smart fighter that Tarver on his day can be, as well as the fact that he is one of the funniest and most charismatic guys in boxing.

There is a reason that Tarver turned so bitter and aggressive, it was because he beat Jones three (yes three) times and has never been given any credit.

yes he is far from an average fighter his problem is mentally IMO, he does'nt seem the most passionate kinda guy & that shows up in his fights sometimes

he could have beaten Roy Jones the 1st time had he not stopped punching in the middle rounds

i thought it was twice,tarver/calzaghe would be much more of a fight than jones, i think it will lend(in my oppinion anyway) a little more credit to joes legacy too, fight jones for the cash, pavlik for the clash and tarver for the aftermath!!

I would like to see it too, but I doubt we'll see a Tarver fight. Have to wait and see how long Joe will carry on getting "just one more win".
