Here's the way I look at it. This guy came out of nowhere and beat a guy most people thought he couldn't. You can't have it both ways, first George was just an opponent, then he takes advantage of his situation and knocks out Chris Byrd and now the win means nothing? If he lost, would the loss mean nothing as well?

Shaun George was waiting for that big opportunity to come out and when it came he pounced on it. George was ready for the fight. If his opponent wasn't, then shame on him. That's not George's problem.

Everyone sides with Glen Johnson saying that everyone is ducking him. Here's a guy Shaun George who is jumping through hopes to get at Johnson and you dismiss him. Judging from the way George is speaking it's very clear that he is extremely confident that he could beat Johnson. A confident fighter is a capable fighter. Glen Johnson hasn't said anything about Shaun George and doesn't seem as vocal about getting together with George.

Should you really hold it against a guy for wanting to fight the toughest guys in his division?

i liek what i seen frmo George. I just wish he threw a bit more punches. Anyways Johnson is bound to get old some time and if he fights Johnson when he gets old he would win. But at the moment if its the normal Glen Johnson, the guy who ko' Roy Jones, Beat Tarver, and arguably beat young Chad Dawson then I would say no. I think George still needs a bit of seasoning till he really steps it up, last thing he needs is another loss. His time will come sooner than later

Agreed, George has been held back by his hesitance in the past. He suffered a bad shoulder injury a few years back and needed two surgeries to repair it. I think he has finally recovered and is hungry.

If this fight happens, it's because Shaun George wanted it, not Glen Johnson. I just hope that if George beats Glen Johnson the people wont say he was too old, too.
