I was planning on buying a PS3 but I'm concerned it will have the same kind of recurring problems.

    Any advice?
That's really unfortunate. My friends one just blew out there the other day.

All new xbox 360's now have a falcon motherboard. Its an updated one and doesnt get the ring of death. Theres a way of finding out if its the new one before u buy it, smt to do with the serial number or the wattage of the power adaptor, the method can be easily found online.

PS3 as far as I know doesnt have those kinda problems xbox does. No major hardware **** ups in this generation of ps3's.

It actually looks **** :/ animation/motion capture looks jerky not fluid like FNR3 and you use buttons they shoulda stuck with the right analog like FN.

Plus my 360 is in repair i got it at launch and it Red ringed on me last week my PS3 is doing well though.

I've always heard PS3 graphics are much better than 360 graphics. Would you agree with that statement?
