They cant do a 24/7...Maybe a countdown? Yes.

Considering how PUMPED the writers and media are for the fight, i think this one breaks 400,000

God that would be the boringest 24/7 ever. Unless they showed them training and sparring a lot. Then it wouldn't be too bad.

But the regular things outside of training would be so boring

They can do a regular countdown but not a 24/7 for more than a couple of reasons:

            1. HBO wont risk their budget for production on 24/7
            2. None of them speak proper English
            3. None of them talk ****, or promote the fight properly.
            4. I doubt Arum can use it, it was Floyd's idea and Floyd hates Arum AKA would sue him

From what I heard there will be a 30 minute Preview. That's enough for a fight like this. All it does is hopefully attract some extra fans who only get excited about a fight after watching these Previews. But the majority of buys will depend on us, the hardcore fans.

Lets hope, enough of us decide to purchase this thing and make it a sucessfull PPV. I'm skeptical though. Just look at some of these boxingscene fans.......they hang around here at fight night looking for free streaming or someone to post the results round by round.

Just think of a Cotto/Margrito 24/7 as a Mexican version of a low budget Kung Fu movie with very little script:

                    400-500k

They are both comming off great wins, All the Ricans watched Margarito **** Cintron. All the casual boxing fans and contender fans watched Cotto demolish Gomez. It's already been pointed out, the video with the most views for HBO boxing on youtube with over 1 million views is Cotto/Gomez highlight.

I think people will be surprised how many fans Cotto has, I have friends who are Mexican and their favorite fighter is Cotto. This fight will be getting a big push from the media because it's a garanteed FOTY candidate, along with the Countdown it might do some great numbers.

No doubt that this fight will do very well with the Mexican and PR fans. The difference between it making a profit and being a mega success is how well it does with the casual fans who don't have a built in rooting interest. It should do very well in California, Texas, and New York. It's middle America that will determine how big it gets.
