If he could get folks out of there, I'd rank him higher. His lack of power gives lesser opponents more of a chance against him, but he's a very good prospect, especially in a 140 lb division that's considerably weaker than it was a couple years ago.
He's from the Spinks camp but he actually throws punches!
I was ringside for his last fight - it was similar to the Corley fight - he won most of the minutes... I just worry about him running into a big puncher as he was actually tagged a few times late in the fight when guys with a little more pop would have already had their lesser opponents out of there...
Yea, he is a good prospect but i would like to see him sit on his punches and actually try to hurt his opponents. He also doesn't seem aggressive enough when he outclasses his oppenent, he seems content to pummel them to the end, when he should just try and end things early.

I noticed that, when he has his opponent seriously hurt he doesn't jump all over him and try to finish him, but the guy is 21 years old he is still learning
tough kid..I have been following him since he was in the ams...he is from my hometown and already has a HUGE following! By the end of 09, he will be world champion. I just hope King takes his career in the RIGHT direction..that is my ONLY concern. in the ring, the kid has talent and heart....keep it Devon!!!
Yeah I'm pretty sure he will be a champ but there's a lot of good names in his devision, so it's gonna be interesting to see how well he does once he takes the next step
