Is Jermain Taylor moving up to 168?

If he cant beat legitimate 160 pounders in their primes, ex Pavlik and Winky, what makes him think he can go to 168 and beat those bigger guys? And i mean the legitimate 168 pounders not the fringe level guys.

He was having difficulty making 160 so 168 could help him. He needs to work on his stamina though.

I'm sure Taylor's thinking is that he'll be able to fight harder and focus better if he isn't so worried about making weight. He held his own with Pavlik and Winky and I'll give him the chance to prove himself at 168. I don't see him dominating there but there is no reason he can't be competitive with the best.

JT is thru he had his chance in the 2nd Pavlik fight & failed. I seriously doubt he will ever have a PPV event again. I give him his props for getting 2 decisions against a legend like B Hop but thats history now.
